inTouch UI was an application for our first generation Microsoft Surface Table originally used by the sales center at the Four Season's in Denver, then later adapted to a similar purpose for Morgan Crossing, a development project near Vancouver. It has since served its purpose in those locations and has retired.
Designing software for the Surface is quite different from mobile devices with similar touch interfaces. A Surface app has to be designed and oriented so that several users can interface with it simultaneously, often from different vantage points. All of the forms and inputs were designed as free-floating objects.
The functionality allowed users to search and browse floor plans as well as fill out their contact information. This data was sent to our secure web service where it could be accessed from anywhere in the world via browser or exported to various other lead management systems, like Salesforce.com.
