A side project of founder Rob Dixon, the Bloom music suite represents all the desires of a software designing music obsessive. Having used nearly every major music software for the consumer audience in existence, he found they all lacked in some way. After compiling this wish list for over a decade and observing no real gains in the marketplace, he prototyped his ideas and began work on an open source WPF application.
The suite consists of three applications: a browser, a player, and an analytics application. They all work together and can connect to multiple music libraries, which extensively model nearly every aspect of a modern piece of music. Furthermore, they can manage physical media like record and CDs as well as digital files.
Check out the live prototypes, which will update as work on the project progresses.
